Valley of the Doves
The following post was sent to us by Lee Van Rensburg, one of our great EO hospitality staff members in the Holy Land right now:
The imposing cliffs of Mt. Arbel in Galilee. The path from Nazareth, via Cana to Magdala passed through this "Valley of the Doves" and between the cliffs linking in with the old Roman via Maris (Way of the Sea). Jews from Magdala hid from the Romans in the caves of Mt. Arbel during the Revolt of the Jews in AD 67. Jesus travelled this route on his way to Capernaum.
